As you know, dental hygienists and therapists are now permitted by the General Dental Council to whiten teeth "if they have the necessary additional skills". As Marina Harris stated in Dental Health [September 2008] it is important to check the credibility of a course that provides such training. Since it opened in January 2005, The Greater Manchester School for Dental Care Professionals has built up a reputation for its high standards of teaching.
